At a time when institutions across the country continue to face scrutiny for how they fail to protect those in their care, these conversations feel more urgent than ever. We are honored to welcome Timothy Hale, a Santa Barbara–based attorney whose work has contributed to landmark cases that have shaped national conversations around institutional accountability and survivor justice.
Over the course of his career, Tim has helped secure hundreds of millions of dollars in settlements for survivors, including his role in historic clergy abuse settlements totaling more than $858 million. Beyond the numbers, his work has helped bring long-hidden truths to light, creating pathways for accountability, healing, and systemic change.
